Most of the universities in the UAE offer accommodation facilities for international students. Students may choose to live in Residential Halls for a fee of AED 5000 per semester. This amount will include utility charges as well for services like internet connectivity, water, electricity, maintenance and basement car parking.
Some amount of money will have to be set aside to meet your daily needs like grocery, transportation, phone bills and other incidental expenses. Some of the more common expenses are listed below:

While most universities would include the Health Insurance fee for the first year as part of the visa application, all subsequent renewal would cost approximately AED 1500 per annum.
